CMM are happy to announce the release of the Copenhagen Denmark based band Me After You's debut album "Foughts". Armed with bass and drums, the band provide a barrage of post-punk desperation and reflection on their first album ‘Foughts’. The ‘bluegaze’ duo has played in Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom and comprises Professor Leonard Seabrooke on bass and main vocals and Federico Festino on drums and keys. On ‘Foughts’ Seabrooke’s bass is crunked-up on octavers and reverb, riffing out walls of sound and feedback squall, or aping tremolo drops and humming like a demented cello. Festino pounds out beats and notes from his mutant kit, half drums and half synths and vibes. ME AFTER YOU’s sound was captured by Andy Miller, who produced and recorded the album in Scotland. Best known for his work with Mogwai, Miller’s production on ‘Foughts’ reflects a mix of wild live performance (“Little Boy/Fat Man””) and more controlled crafted songs ("Out of My Mind”). Musically, the songs on ‘Foughts’ are cousins rather than siblings. Listeners will immediately identify post-punk influences, but with twists and turns; from avant-garage in “Little Boy/Fat Man” and “Il Primo Dio”, gothic shoegaze in “Guilty in Love” and “Revolt!”, darkwave pop in “Out of My Mind”, “Retrospecting” and “Someone to Hate”, screaming rock in “MAMA” and the most deliberate fusion of blues and shoegaze in “Wipe the Blood” and “3”. "Foughts" is now available on CD with a "deluxe" vinyl edition coming soon.

Last Remaining Pinnacle "Visitors" Limited LP/CD/Cassette
Portsmouth Virginia based noise rock artists Last Remaining Pinnacle have released their 1st proper album “Visitors”. The band was started in 1995 by guitarist/vocalist Dave Allison and over it’s 17 year existence LRP has appeared on multiple 7” splits, compilations and limited edition cassettes crafting out sounds ranging from harsh noise to ambient soundtrack recordings. In 2010 Allison started to expand the sounds of LRP taking the harshness of it’s earlier sounds and adding in more structured like “rock n roll” song writing. The project soon became a duo with the addition of guitarist/recording engineer Dave Dembitsky and after a successful run of shows up and down the East Coast throughout 2011 the band began recording “Visitors”.The result is a truly cohesive album of songs that complement each other in the purist way. Be it the chainsaw like dual guitar attack of opening track “7 Dollar Room”, the floating numb like elements of “Start” or the straight up menacing rage of “Lies”, “Visitors” begins with a straight forward 1-2-3 punch before settling into the pulsating beat of “They Are Lost” which is backed by a riff that combines aspects of Duane Eddy’s “Rebel Rouser” and “A Forrest” by The Cure with lyrics focused on the monotony of life. “Mantle Rotation 3” is a return to early LRP compositions with a whirling, swirling “emergency” type sound that drops into a doomful dirge. Things then resurface into “Every Night” which combines a haunting gothic post punk vibe with a heavy does of Cream’s “Swlabr”. “Students Of The V.U.” features a dark repetitive riff, tribal like drums and psych fuelled vocals that put the listener in an almost a trance like state. The album ends with the title track “Visitors” a look at the aspects of marketing, religion, media and the work place in our modern society and how it effects us all.

Modern Man - Eyes No - LP / Cassette
Custom Made Music are proud to announce the release of Modern Man’s “Eyes No” album on limited edition LP and cassette. The South Carolina based band blend reverb drenched guitars and vocals with a pounding rhythm section. The album wastes no time in showing the band’s prowess, as “Wild Animal” is a pummeling, driving and ultimately compelling song. Eyes No excels at being atmospheric and dictating mood on the listener. As much as they push a haunting terror, they always reach out and bring you back in at the right moment. Their sound is a distillation of Velvet Underground throb and MBV’s slabs of gazer gauze.

In the wake of a lengthy barroom conversation on the glories of Krautrock and early shoegaze, David Koslowski, Nick Williams, and Shirlé Hale formed Free Electric State in January 2009, and were soon joined by Tony Stiglitz on drums. In the thriving music scene of Durham NC, the band quickly became something of an anomaly. Among the nascent community of polite indie-folk and garage revivalists, Free Electric State was all texture, noise, volume, and (yes indeed) actual rock n' roll hooks. The oddly reactionary approach proved successful, and Free Electric State became hot ticket in the North Carolina scene, eventually sharing bills with Mike Watt, Polvo, Thee Silver Mt. Zion, and Deerhunter.
The resulting album is both melancholy and joyously exuberant, and most importantly stands as a single, concise movement in the band's progression. The lyrics reflect the great deal of loss the band felt when writing the record. Vocalist/bassist Shirle Hale states "Shortly after my mother's death, we started work on our new record, as the first few songs were unfolding David & I then lost a close friend unexpectedly and 3 months later my father passed away. Also during this time period Nick lost his cousin and watched his best friend from high school lose a shockingly fast battle with cancer. The lyrics and may of the songs range from grief, blame, regret and finally a strange inevitable acceptance."
